What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work? (Ex. Hobbies, volunteer work)
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, learning new languages, crafting jewelry, and hosting game nights for friends and family.
What drew you to education?
I began my education in private school before transitioning to public school, where I quickly noticed the disparity in resources. My own academic success helped me earn scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate studies, which in turn opened doors for a career in community development and social justice. Education is the key to unlocking people’s potential, and I am committed to working toward a world where every student has the support they need to thrive.
Why are you passionate about working at EdTrust?
I believe education not only helps individuals realize their potential but also teaches us how to build a society that values diversity and empowers each of us to act and improve our communities. EdTrust’s unique ability to simultaneously raise awareness, influence policy, and drive meaningful change towards these goals is something I’m proud to be a part of.
