Leila Sukee is the Development Assistant at EdTrust. In this role, she supports the development team with organizing documentation for grant deliverables, processing department vendor contracts and agreements, and coordinating internal and external appointments for the chief development officer.
Prior to joining EdTrust, Leila gained experience in cultivating strategic partnerships as a climate resilience intern at the Clinton Foundation. Leila has previously volunteered as a refugee youth tutor at the International Rescue Committee where she assisted students from grades K-12 with academic work and learning English as a second language. These roles shaped her interest in education and development.
Leila is from Albany, NY and holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from SUNY Geneseo.
