Vanderbilt University Provost’s Office for Inclusive Excellence
Alyssa Aloyo is a proud Jersey-grown Puerto Rican who has been a Nashville resident for close to eight years. Alyssa manages efforts to expand inclusion and equity work for students, faculty, and post-doctoral fellows at Vanderbilt University’s Provost’s Office for Inclusive Excellence. She has earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Belmont University, a Master of Arts in Conflict Management from Lipscomb University, and a Master of Education in Learning, Diversity, and Urban Studies from Peabody College at Vanderbilt. Alyssa’s community involvement has focused on persistence efforts for first-generation and low-income undergraduate students, and facilitating critical discourse about salient social justice issues with various communities.
