Blair is the primary point of contact for media outlets on K-12 and teacher quality issues. She also supports efforts to increase awareness of, and commitment to, our mission by creating and carrying out media relations strategies and tracking their results.
Prior to joining The Education Trust, Blair worked at DCI Group, where she advised clients on media, public affairs, and communications strategies pertaining to policy issues ranging from education to international finance. Before joining DCI Group, Blair worked in both the district and Capitol Hill offices of U.S. Representative Chaka Fattah (D-Penn.).
A native of Philadelphia, Blair holds a master’s degree from the George Washington University in public policy, with a concentration in education policy, and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and political science from the University of Pittsburgh.
