Cherish Davis

Cherish Davis is a native of Buffalo and is currently the Education Service Area Manager at the Community Action Organization of Western New York Head Start program in the Buffalo metro area and Niagara county. In that capacity she supervises the educational services by guiding curriculum, program planning, and developing teachers. She holds a B.S. in Child Development and is currently completing her M.A. in Early Childhood Education at Walden University. Mrs. Davis serves on the Board of Trustees for a prospective charter school, Buffalo Commons Charter School, and has recently joined the Open Buffalo Emerging Leaders cohort, class of 2018. She is a mother of two sons, ages 11 and 2, and a 13 year old daughter. Mrs. Davis aspirers to obtain the skills needed to collaborate and advocate with others, to improve education and create a better Buffalo.
