Matt has left The Education Trust for his next adventure. Though he is no longer at Ed Trust, we maintain this bio page as a record of the wonderful work he contributed while with us.

Matt leads the development and execution of The Education Trust’s K-12 and higher education government affairs work.

Before joining the Ed Trust, Matt led the government relations work for Rebuilding Together, a national network of nonprofits that repair the homes of low-income homeowners. What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Traveling in the United States—have been lucky to visit all 50 states.

Why are you passionate about working at Ed Trust?
My professional life has focused on the American dream. Education is at the heart of that dream. Working at the Ed Trust is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work to strengthen this great country.
