As the field associate at the Ed Trust, Nehemiah helps design and lead programs to identify, educate, and mobilize key individuals, constituencies, and organizations outside of Washington, D.C., around The Education Trust’s message, agenda, and specific policy proposals. Prior to joining The Education Trust, Nehemiah served as an Outreach and Engagement Associate with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). In this capacity, he developed foundational relationships with community advocates from across the country. Previously, he served as a policy advisor for the Department of Labor’s Office of Disability and Employment Policy (ODEP), where he worked to influence national policy and promote effective workplace practices, including helping youth with disabilities transition from school to adulthood and the working world. Nehemiah is a graduate of Tufts University and of the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
