It has been over one year since the COVID-19 pandemic changed our education system as we know it in almost an instant. During that same timeframe, Congress acted in a bipartisan way on multiple occasions to provide resources as the Trump Administration and DeVos Department of Education mostly watched from the sidelines as schools and districts struggled to adjust to their “new normal”. In less than 6 months, a general election occurred that not only changed the balance of power in Washington, but also left the narrowest of margins for Democrats to act to advance their ambitious priorities under a new Biden-Harris Administration. This reality has not prevented additional legislation from passing, however, as a new day dawns for pandemic response from the federal level. In this session, experts will:
