Partner with Us to Close Opportunity Gaps in Education

Your Corporate Support Can Transform Students’ Lives and Build a Better Future

Group of three third graders huddled together.

For nearly three decades, EdTrust has successfully advocated for hundreds of policies that help students of color and students from low-income backgrounds achieve their educational goals. Today, more than half of students in the U.S. are students of color, which is why EdTrust’s mission to overcome the racial and economic barriers in our education system matters more than ever.

For example, we have successfully advocated for:

  • Increasing resources for students through an additional $4,000 per student in Tennessee
  • Expanding access to advanced STEM coursework for 40% more underserved middle school students in Texas
  • Federal policies such as the Advanced Coursework Act, the Books Saves Lives Act, and the Creating A More Positive University Space (CAMPUS) Act
  • Successfully championing for more than $350 million additional dollars for low-income students over the last two years in Michigan

By The Numbers

By 2045, people of color will make up the majority of the U.S. workforce

Only 59% of Black and Latino students have access to advanced coursework, compared to 81% of their white peers. This disparity limits college readiness, career opportunities, and perpetuates inequities in STEM and other high-demand fields

By 2031, 72% of all jobs will require some type of post-secondary degree

41% of college students will not complete a degree within six years of enrollment
