InvestEdTX
InvestEdTX is a non-partisan, education coalition that focuses on Texas public school students and postsecondary readiness and success for all. We believe Texas students and Texas public schools are capable of great things. System leaders should leverage data-driven practices and targeted investments to set strong academic foundations, close opportunity and achievement gaps, and ensure a high-quality public education so students can meet their full potential.
TX PACE
The Texas Postsecondary Advocates Coalition for Equity (TX PACE) is a coalition of organizations across Texas committed to improving equity in higher education, with a focus on college affordability and certificate/degree completion. Our collective efforts sit at the intersection of student engagement, research, and policy analysis, rooted in best practices that advance student success.
Texas Community College Student Advisory Council
Originally formed to inform the Texas Commission on Community College Finance, the Texas Community College Student Advisory Council brings together current and recent community college students from across the state to inform and influence higher education policies. These students provide critical insights and perspectives to policymakers and advocates, ensuring that the voices of learners are included in the policymaking process.
Aim Hire Texas
Aim Hire Texas is a statewide consortium of advocates, employers, non-profit organizations, and education and training providers working to improve the Texas workforce system for the benefit of all Texans and their employers.
Citywide Coalition on Education
In response to the growing needs of Houston-area educators, students, and families following the 2020 pandemic, EdTrust in Texas launched the Citywide Coalition on Education in partnership with Latinos for Education, Good Reason Houston, Leadership for Educational Equity, One Houston, and the Parent Teacher Collaborative. This coalition seeks to actively engage with students and families to understand their priorities and improve outcomes in the education system.
Educator Advisory Council for the Houston Region
Facilitated in partnership with Teach Plus Texas, the Educator Advisory Council for the Houston Region brings together veteran and early-career educators, as well as district and educator preparation leaders, to share their experiences and develop their leadership as advocates. By amplifying educator voices, this council helps inform and shape policies that impact classrooms and communities across the Houston area.
