Brittany is the digital communications manager at EdTrust. She is responsible for managing digital communications including developing digital communications campaigns, creating content, and managing EdTrust’s social media channels.
Prior to joining EdTrust, she worked as a communication strategist in the nonprofit, association, and government sectors. She previously served as a strategic communications specialist for the Pentagon and as a strategic communications consultant for the National Medical Association.
Brittany holds a bachelor’s in communications from Howard University. She currently resides in Virginia with her husband, daughter, and goldendoodle pup.
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work? (Ex. Hobbies, volunteer work)
Outside of work I enjoy reading, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
What drew you to education?
My passion for education stems from a deep belief that a solid education is the foundation for every career path and that every child deserves a fair and equal opportunity. I enjoy being able to play a role in helping to ensure a successful future for students.
