Justice Fellow

Felicia Dixon is a passionate advocate for higher education access and reintegration support for systems-impacted individuals. After earning her associate’s degree while incarcerated, she continued her education post-release, earning a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Washington. Her journey navigating college after incarceration fuels her dedication to advocating for policy reforms that eliminate educational barriers and create equitable access to resources for systems-impacted individuals.

Felicia currently works as the reintegration and wellness program manager at RECLAIM, where she helps individuals transitioning from incarceration address the often-overlooked mental, emotional, and relational challenges they face. She is also a board member of the Formerly Incarcerated College Graduate Network (FICGN), working to expand educational and professional opportunities for systems-impacted college graduates. In addition, she works with incarcerated youth in juvenile centers, using creative expression and art to support their emotional processing, self-awareness, and relationship-building.

As a co-founder and alum of Freedom Education Project Puget Sound (FEPPS), Felicia has contributed to the development of college programs for incarcerated women and gender-diverse individuals. As a 2025 EdTrust Justice Policy Fellow, Felicia is committed to ensuring that systems-impacted individuals have the resources and support necessary to thrive in both education and life.
