Weaknesses
I love pop music (specifically Charli XCX), Love Island UK, and purchasing books when there are already plenty of unread books on my shelves.
Fun things outside of work
In my free time, I love to read, watch movies, and write.
What drew you to education
What drew me to education is the importance that education has in shaping people’s futures, careers, and passions. I began my journey with education through advocating for the acceptance and support of LGBTQ+ students within Virginia Public Schools, and later helped organize Santa Barbara County’s PROUD Prom: an event that celebrates LGBTQ+ students within Santa Barbara County, CA.
