Jalyn’s responsibility as a graphic designer is to create high-quality design for print, digital, and social media. She started as a design intern at Ed Trust, and after a few months, was promoted as a full-time graphic designer. Prior to that, she was a graphic design intern at Gavin Evolving Influence, a brand communications agency.
Jalyn graduated from Towson University with a BFA in Graphic Design.
What do you do outside of work?
I’m a nail technician creating designs on a much smaller canvas — that being finger nails.
What drew you to education?
What drew me to education is the importance of it and how it shapes our world and future of children. In fact, I did my senior project where I created educational cards tackling the issue of Black figures who are not being talked about in schools. This was a very enjoyable project for me because my passion for education fueled my creativity and research behind it.
Why are you passionate about working at Ed Trust?
I love that I learn something new on the job every single day!
