What drew you to education?

Growing up with both of my parents as educators, I developed an early appreciation for the power that education holds. It is one of the few parts of life that every human experiences and it has the power to transform lives. Education has a pivotal role in shaping individuals and communities, which means it is imperative that it is accessible and equitable for everyone.

Why are you passionate about working at Ed Trust?

I am passionate about working for EdTrust because it aligns with my lifelong commitment to educational equity. The mission of EdTrust to close opportunity gaps for underrepresented students resonates with my personal and professional goals and values. I am excited to be a part of an organization that will allow me to contribute meaningfully to efforts that will ensure that all students, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to experience and succeed in education.
