Suniyah is responsible for handling the day-to-day tasks for the organization’s Information Technology (IT) department. This includes installing, maintaining, and monitoring all software and hardware systems. She helps around the office and is the first point of contact for most service requests.
Prior to joining EdTrust, Suniyah worked extensively in customer service. She began her career in IT at NPower, a nonprofit program that helps underserved young adults in the Baltimore area gain experience working in IT.
Originally from Charles County, Maryland, Suniyah attends the College of Southern Maryland studying Information Technology.

What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?
I loooove relaxing with my cat.
Why are you passionate about working at EdTrust?
Working at EdTrust is something I am really proud of. I love seeing the hard work this organization puts in to advocate for underserved students of color and am excited to see those changes enacted during my time here.
