Reimagining How we Make School Spending Decisions
In this session, participants will learn how equity-oriented school spending data can inform school funding decisions being made right now in districts across the country. We will share information on what data state leaders have released, how advocates can push to make the data more transparent, and the opportunities to use this data, including through equitable participatory budgeting processes that meaningfully engage a diverse range of community members in local school funding decisions.
