On May 19, Ed Trust’s hosted a webinar on supporting student success in higher education in the time of COVID-19. As colleges have moved courses online, many students have had to to master a new learning style while struggling with numerous hardships that have only been intensified by this pandemic. In this webinar, we provided updates on how federal stimulus funds are being allocated, as well as equitable practices to help support all students in their digital coursework.

Survey for Students to Share Experiences: Ed Trust would like to know how college students have been impacted by COVID-19. In collecting these stories, we hope to amplify the voices of students amidst this pandemic and provide students an opportunity to share challenges, concerns, and opportunities they’ve faced.

Education Coalitions: Stay involved in the fight for equity in higher education by engaging with some of these coalitions.

CARES Act Funding Allocations: This dashboard features the latest data from the U.S. Department of Education’s CARES Act allocation table, along with institution-level data from the College Scorecard. The tool is designed to disseminate information and highlight data patterns that may have immediate implications for colleges and their students.

Supporting Online Learning Equity: This presentation lays out trends and issues that complicate the experiences of diverse learners in online courses and offers equity-minded teaching and learning strategies for faculty teaching online courses.
