Erika Leicht is the director of research at the Tennessee State Board of Education, the governing and policy making body for Tennessee’s pre-K-12 public education system. Prior to joining the State Board staff in 2019, Erika worked as a project manager at the Tennessee Department of Education for two years. Erika holds a B.A. and M.P.P. from Vanderbilt University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in public policy and administration at Tennessee State University.
