P-12 Policy Fellow

Jack Hill is a P-12 Policy Fellow for The Education Trust in Tennessee where he works to support work surrounding resource equity and school finance across the state of Tennessee. Jack is a current graduate student at Vanderbilt University pursuing a Master of Public Policy degree with a focus on quantitative methodology.

Before joining The Education Trust in Tennessee, Jack worked for Augenblick, Palaich and Associates (APA), a Denver-based education policy consulting firm. At APA, Jack’s work focused on early childhood issues, program research and evaluation and quantitative analysis. During his time at APA, Jack supported the evaluation of the Denver Preschool Program, analyzed the impact of a quality assurance program for early childhood education in Nebraska, and conducted an evaluation of a literacy based tutoring program in Colorado that was published by the Corporation for National & Community Service. Jack has also completed internships with both Transition Tennessee and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.

Jack holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Washington where he was an undergraduate fellow at the Center for American Politics and Public Policy.
