Kwame Kankam-Boadu

Senior Systems Administrator

As a senior systems administrator, Kwame is responsible for handling day to day cybersecurity, compliance, and configurations of the information technology (IT) department. This includes installing, maintaining, and monitoring all software and hardware systems. He helps address and resolve security incidents by proactively monitoring, preventing, and remediating issues as and when they occur. He is also responsible for helping streamline and reduce system complexities and continuous improvements.

Prior to joining EdTrust, he worked as a unified communications engineer for federal contracts and he also worked for over 10 years as the IT manager for a nonprofit in Maryland.

Kwame holds a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity and certificate in database management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
