Tennesseans for Quality Early Education
Lisa is a Senior Policy Fellow for Tennesseans for Quality Early Education (“TQEE”), an advocacy organization Lisa co-led as Policy Director from 2017-19. TQEE advances evidence-based policy solutions that prepare young children birth through third grade to meet critical developmental and academic milestones. As Senior Policy Fellow Lisa co-leads a statewide coalition of leaders focused on increasing the accessibility, affordability and quality of child care in Tennessee through innovative business and policy solutions. Lisa also contributes to the development of policy and legislative agendas for TQEE and represents the organization on a number of task forces and councils.
Additionally, Lisa is the Executive Director for the Early Learning Collaborative (“ELC”) and the Family Care Network of Middle Tennessee (“FCN”), as well as an education consultant advising a variety of education clients in strategic planning, curriculum design, professional development, and sustainable financing.
Prior to her work with TQEE, Lisa served as Executive Director for the Office of Early Learning at the Tennessee Department of Education, where she led and managed statewide programs providing education and family-support services to children from birth through third grade.
