Sabria Stanford

Grants Associate

As a grants associate, Sabria is responsible for handling grants management tasks for EdTrust’s finance department. This includes setting up grant records and data in financial systems, analyzing grant activities and trends, and providing necessary trainings.

Prior to joining EdTrust, she worked extensively in nonprofit accounting and began her career as a temporary associate for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation.

What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?  

One of my favorite things to do is try new and innovative restaurants in the area. I am full of recommendations.

Why are you passionate about working at EdTrust? 

I was raised by a host of principals, teachers, and counselors who instilled the importance of education in me at a young age, and I love EdTrust’s mission of making education more accessible.
