Ana Velasquez

Ana was born in Mexico and raised in California. Ana has lived to Durham, NC since 1995. For over 20 year, Ana has been serving as a Bilingual Family Advocate for her community in Durham, NC. She has worked with children with Developmental Disabilities & Mental health services. Ana has also served as a baseball coach, mentor, advocate and parent training facilitator. Ana has served as a policy council member for the Durham NC Extension, and former Co-Chair for the Durham Community Collaborative representing families. She is happily married with 5 children and 13 grandchildren.
