A future where all students — regardless of their immigration status — can attend inclusive schools where they feel safe is what Elizabeth wants to see. Elizabeth grew up in a predominately Latinx community, and she hopes to ask the Secretary how the federal government can make every school in the U.S. a sanctuary school.
