Jouene ‘s primary focus in the Human Resources department is on total rewards for the organization, including compensation and benefits. She also works with compliance, HR projects and provides overall support to people managers.
Prior to joining Edrust, Jouene served in various roles in Human Resources in healthcare settings, providing service and support to people managers at all levels.
Jouene holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from North Carolina Central University.

Why are you passionate about working at Ed Trust?
I have a passion for helping people. For many years, I directed my energy toward working to support and make work life better for people that cared for the sick. After raising my children, I have a deep yearning to support those who working to improve the quality of education for children, particularly children of color. EdTrust affords me that opportunity to make a difference in my own way.
