What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?|I’m an avid reader, I love sci-fi and literary fiction.

What drew you to education?
I have always loved school and the process of learning — many of my favorite moments in life take place in or around schools. However, the ongoing political chaos that started in 2016 made me realize just how fragile education policy can be and that we, as a country, need more people fiercely advocating on behalf of the students and families that are far too often ignored.
