Ray Galloway

Ray is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the national office and is the primary contact for all logistical aspects of convenings and internal/external meetings. He brings to Ed Trust years of operations and events management experience gained from working with various organizations across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

Prior to joining The Education Trust, Ray worked at Grady Health Systems in Atlanta, where he served as the Executive Assistant to the COO and others in the C-suite. He coordinated all board and other meetings for his team in addition to managing the overall operations of the office. Prior to serving at Grady, Ray worked as the Clerk of the Board at Spelman College, where he was responsible for all travel and logistics for multi-day meetings for the 26-member board and the senior team. He was also the go-to person for Commencement Weekend, a three-day event involving multiple venues and events, and hosting thousands of participants.

Why are you passionate about working at EdTrust?
Ed Trust focuses on all students from kindergarten through college, not just high school and college students. This is very important because grades K-6 are the most important years of education; the building block years, where a quality education is most important.
