Walton Robinson is currently the Interim Executive Director of UnifiEd, a member-driven public education advocacy organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He brings nearly two decades of front-line advocacy experience along with a deeply nuanced understanding of what motivates people to pursue change.

From multilateral statewide coalitions to local neighborhood collectives, Walton specializes in building communications and public engagement strategies that turn complex policy issues into compelling narratives.

A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Walton was educated in public schools from elementary school through college. Inspired by his grandmother Nancy Robinson, a public school teacher in Hamilton County for over 35 years, Walton holds a steadfast commitment to the goal of achieving excellent and equitable public schools for every child.

Walton earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Georgia and a Master of Public Management from Appalachian State University. Walton and his wife Meghan, live in the Fairfax Heights neighborhood of Chattanooga with their three rescue dogs.
